Jackson Hole, WY – May 1, 2018 – PharmaC, LLC announced that the OnSite IV® has been selected as a finalist in the Drug-Delivery and Combination Products category of the 20th Annual Medical Design Excellence Awards competition. The 2018 winners will be announced at the 2018 MDEA Ceremony on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in conjunction with the MD&M East event, organized by UBM, taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
The OnSite IV® device offers a closed and needleless syringe that facilitates a sterile fluid path for both the admixture and direct dispensing of medications.
The Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) is the premier awards program for the medtech industry. The mission of the MDEAs has been to recognize significant achievements in medical product design and engineering that improves the quality of healthcare delivery and assessibility. The MDEA competition accepts entries worldwide from companies and individuals involved in the design, engineering, manufacture, or distribution of finished medical devices.

The 2018 MDEA Juror Panel selected 41 exceptional finalists in nine medical technology product categories. The MDEA jury typically encompasses medtech professionals from a wide range of healthcare and design related fields, including clinical practice, biomedical engineering, human factors, industrial design, manufacturing and other areas.
